This challenge is hosted by Cheryl, Gina and Bev from Reading Challenge Addict. It's all about how many reading challenges you can complete.

The Official 2018 TBR Pile Reading Challenge #TBR2018RBR

The Official 2018 TBR Pile Reading Challenge hosted by Roof Beam Reader is all about reading 12 books from your "to be read" pile that have been on your shelf or e-reader for at least one full year.

This is a good challenge for me as I am a habitual book buyer who can barely pass a Waterstones without getting a shiny new paperback, yet there are plenty of novels that have been gathering dust on my shelves for years.

Science Fiction vs. Fantasy Bingo 2018 #SFvsFBingo

This reading challenge is hosted by Curiosity Killed the Bookworm. You can choose to do a line, try to do as much as possible in your preferred genre, attack it randomly or go for the full house. Science fiction, fantasy, horror, speculative and magical realism genres all count.

2018 YA Reading Challenge #2018YARC

The 2018 Young Adult Reading Challenge hosted by Whole Latte Ideas is all about reading books from the young adult genre. This is perfect for me as I really enjoy reading YA sci-fi and fantasy novels.

Anyone can participate, whether you happen to be a 'young adult' or not! You can set any goal for this that you like and any sub-genres ansd formats count as long as they are from the young adult or new adult genre. If you want to join, visit the sign-up post.

The aim of this reading challenge hosted by Mia Sutton is to read a book each month of the year that corresponds to a different colour. The full details can be found here and the first link-up will be on January 31st.

2018 Finishing the Series Reading Challenge #FinishingTheSeries2018

This reading challenged is focused on finishing those series that you're started but not yet completed. Here is the link up post. 

The series can be already completed by the author or still being written. For ongoing series, the goal is to catch-up to the most recent book published. You must have started reading the series before 2018 and any format counts. Crossovers with other challenges are totally fine and reviews are encouraged but not required.

New Authors Reading Challenge 2018 #NewAuthors18

The idea behind this challenge, hosted by Literary Escapism, is to find new authors that you've never tried before, not necessarily ones that are debuting this year.

They can be in your genre of choice or you can be brave and try something new. You can choose whatever goal you like. The sign up post is here. After reading your new author, write your review and then add your link to the form.

Full House Reading Challenge 2018

Kathryn at The Book Date is hosting the Full House Reading Challenge 2018-a fun bingo card that you cross off as you go whenever you achieve one of the goals.

The challenge runs from 1st Jan to 31st Dec 2018. You can link up reviews (although these are not mandatory) and every three months there are two prizes of $15 with a book of your choice from the Book Depository or an Amazon voucher.

At the end of the challenge, you can enter for a 'full house' if you've ticked off all the categories on the card and you have a chance of winning a $40 prize (US only).

2016 Reading List and Challenges

It's that time of year again! I love joining in with all the reading challenges. Even if I don't meet all my goals it's always fun to participate. I have plenty of books on my shelf and on my kindle, including some new ones that I received for Christmas. This year I have to be realistic about how many books I can read with a new baby to look after. I've narrowed my huge TBR pile down to books that have either been on my shelf for a while, that I need to review or that I'm really desperate to read.

2016 Women Reading Challenge

I'm taking part in the fourth edition of the Women Challenge hosted by Valentina at Peek a BooK. The aim is to read more books of any kind written by female authors. You don't need a blog to participate and audio, ebooks and re-reads are acceptable. You can sign up with the Linky here.

Level 2: GIRLS POWER - read 6 to 15 books written by a woman author

2016 TBR Pile Reading Challenge #2016TBRPile

The aim of this reading challenge, hosted by Bookish Lifestyle, is to read all the books you've been telling yourself you'll read next time when you get a chance-this is your chance!

Anyone can enter and any book counts as long as it has been sitting on your shelf for some time. Short stories and novellas do count! The only stipulations that the book must have been released in 2015 or earlier. No 2016 ARCs or 2016 fresh-off-the-press releases are allowed.

Read My Own Damn Books 2016 Reading Challenge #ReadMyOwnDamnBooks

This reading challenge, hosted by Estella's Revenge, is a very laid-back challenge with a "you do you" approach. Estella will be using the hashtag #ReadMyOwnDamnBooks to talk about her personal challenge throughout the year and invites others to join her. The sign up list is here.

There aren't really any rules to the challenge. Estella is aiming to get through 100 books in 2016 and is putting herself on a book buying ban until she's read a significant amount.

Popsugar 2015 Reading Challenge
