K is for Khaki #AtoZChallenge

For the letter 'K' I have chosen the colour Khaki. Khaki describes both a light shade of yellow-brown similar to beige and a drab green military colour. The word comes from Urdu and means 'soil-coloured'. It originally came to English via the British Indian Army.

F is for Fuchsia #AtoZChallenge

For the letter 'F' I have chosen the colour Fuchsia. Fuchsia is a bright, vibrant, reddish pink named after the flower of the fuchsia plant. Its name was changed to Magenta in 1859 to celebrate a victory of the French army at the Battle of Magenta.
