About the Blog
Creative Therapy was started on 6th March 2009 by A V Brown. It began as a place to share opinions, poetry and artwork. It's since evolved into a book blog that focuses on YA Fantasy, Sci-fi and Dystopian fiction. Here you will find book reviews, blog tours, cover reveals, giveaways, guest posts, author interviews and various book memes.
My secondary topic is creative writing, so I like to share some of my own work and participate in events such as the A-Z challenge and NaNoWriMo. The blog also features a range of other topics such as arts and crafts, baking, philosophy, mental health, travel and lifestyle. I blog about anything I think my readers will find interesting.
I really appreciate all my followers and those that take the time to comment on my posts. I always make an effort to reply and follow back. Please join in by commenting on discussion posts-I really like to hear my readers' opinions.
For authors or publishers who would like to submit a book for review, please read the Review Policy for more information. For any further queries please see the FAQs or contact me.
About the Author
Hi, I'm Anstice Brown, known to my friends as Tizzy. I'm 25 (yikes!) and living happily with my husband and our crazy cat in Lincolnshire, England (a bleak landscape characterised mostly by smelly cabbage fields).By day I'm a school administrator, but by night I'm
I have a degree in English Literature and Philosophy and I'm proud to be a geek. I love retro TV and films like Star Trek, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park and Monty Python. My latest obsession is with all things Marvel. I like all-sorts of music, but especially 70s and 80s rock and modern indie music (anything with a good guitar solo). I'm allergic to sports but I enjoy dance and Zumba. I like singing in the shower, tap dancing on any smooth surface and eating weird things like pickled onions on toast. I'm also mad about Harry Potter. What, after all this time? ALWAYS.
Like many daydreamers, I'm known for being terribly disorganised and clumsy, a reputation which is not entirely unjustified.
