I am happy to promote books through the following features:

Review Policy

Genres Reviewed

At the moment I am only accepting review requests for the following genres:

• Fantasy (including high fantasy and urban fantasy)
• Sci-Fi
• Dystopian/Post-apocalyptic
• Paranormal
• Mystery/thriller
• Steampunk

I will review Young Adult, New Adult or Adult novels.

Formats Accepted 

I currently accept review copies in the following formats:

• .mobi (Kindle)
• PDF
• Paperback

Please be aware that I am based in the UK, so physical copies will take longer to reach me if posting from the US.

I prefer to read in series order, so please only send the first book in a series.

Review Criteria

Reviews are based on my personal thoughts and opinions. The criteria I use to write my reviews are:

• Plot (believability, hooks, suspense, pace)
• Characters (likeability, realism, relationships)
• Language and Style 
• Emotional Response
• Meaning (feminist and other socio-political interpretations
• Continuity (how it compares to prequels/sequels)
• Originality

Payment Policy 

I will never accept payment for a review. Occasionally authors and publishers send me free books to review. They do so in the understanding that I will review their book honestly and will make my readers aware that I have received a free copy. Free books or book 'swag' such as bookmarks or stickers will never influence my review.

Rating System

I loved it and am likely to re-read or purchase it. 

I really liked it and would recommend it.

It was ok-I liked some parts but there were some weaknesses.

I didn't like it and wouldn't recommend it.

I hated it and struggled to finish.

Review requests are currently closed, but expected to open again on 1st November 2017.

To request a review, please fill in this form and I will respond within 48 hours. If your request is accepted, I will contact you by email to request a review copy of the book and arrange a time-scale for publishing the review.

All reviews are posted on Goodreads, Amazon and on this blog, but may be posted elsewhere on request.
