Fuchsia is a popular colour for spring and summer makeup because it's so vibrant. It makes a bold statement, but is more wearable than red and suits most skin tones, especially paler ones.
As fuchsia has an equal mix of pink and blue tones, it brightens up pale skin without looking too harsh. It's perfect when you want to add a pop of colour to boost your confidence, without looking over-the-top.

I could do fuchsia nails for sure. I am not sure about the lipstick though. I haven't worn more than tinted gloss for the last ten years, so I am afraid of colour! haha.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a pink person - although I do own a dark fuchsia dress. I like it in makeup though, because I have dark hair and it just fits.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite oooh-la-la dress was fuchsia. Wish I had kept it. It used to be I stay away from shades of pink only because the Mama dressed me in it as a kid. Now, I know it suits me.

I know I said this about duck egg blue, but I do love fuchsia as well!! Any bright colours, and I'm hooked! I'm definitely going to try out a few of those lipsticks. I also didn't know that it went with green - I learn something new every day on your blog ;)!
