New term new start!

Hi all, sorry it's been a long time since I've posted. The summer has been a whirlwind of professional and social commitments, including:

-Changing day jobs from being a Pharmacy Dispenser to an Administration Assistant in a local Primary school (a BIG and exciting change for me).
-Designing a website for Bright Physical Education-an inspiring PE training company.
-Learning routines for my dance show which is in two weeks time. Argh!
-Giving some informal English/pronunciation lessons to a couple of Polish friends.
-Planning my wedding for next May (booking the registrar and venue, ordering my dress, choosing the menu, drawing up a guest list, buying materials for making invites, etc.)
-Going out for lots of birthday meals-mine, my sister's, a couple of my friends', my step-dad's.
-Going to stay with my Nan for the weekend (which I only get to do about once a year these days).
-Spending some quality time with my other half by going away to a spa hotel for five days where we enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and spotted Harry Potter star Warrick Davis (Professor Flitwick)!

As you can see, I've been pretty busy, and just haven't made the time for blogging lately. Good job I haven't neglected other areas of my life as much as this though, eh? (*cough*housework*cough*Zumba*cough*).

The good news is that I've got a bit of my energy back now and am determined to bring blogging back into my life, starting with a character interview on Thursday with Della Ivy from The Wayward Gifted: Broken Point. Please come back on Thursday to check it out!

Also, please vote in the poll below as to which writing-related topic you would most like me to blog about and I will make it happen. Thanks :)

  3. Sounds like a productive summer. The only downside to that is summer has gone by fast, hasn't it? Glad to see you back to blogging and looking forward to your posts.
