Today's cover characteristic is Marilyn Monroe. At first, this struck me as a difficult one because no book covers featuring Marilyn Monroe sprang to mind. But with a little digging on Goodreads I found these beauties:

Today's cover characteristic is Eyes. Eyes are a popular feature on book covers, especially for sci-fi and fantasy novels. It makes sense, since they are the 'windows to the soul' and can create a sense of mystery and otherworldliness or show a character's inner emotions. There were lots of amazing covers featuring eyes to choose from!

Today's cover characteristic is one of my favourite things- Cupcakes! This was quite an easy one as there are a lot of delicious cupcake-themed cover designs around, but they are normally in genres I don't often read-like contemporary romance.

This is another great topic for me as I love my feline friends and there are some gorgeous covers out there.
