Cover Characteristic (34): Fortune Cookies

Today I'm joining in with the Cover Characteristic meme hosted by Sugar and Snark. Every week the authors choose a theme and you have to pick five of your favourite book covers featuring that object.

Today's cover characteristic is Fortune Cookies. Well, I never realised there were so many books that do feature fortune cookies on the cover! I found quite a lot on Goodreads. Keep reading to see my favourites!

These are the ones that most appeal to me:

I like how the title and author name are written on the fortune, it looks cool and quirky.

Love the pretty patterns on this one and the warm colour. The chocolate-dipped cookie looks delicious and goes well with the title.

This one is simple but the red background would make it stand out on the shelf. I like the pattern at the top and the silhouette of a city sky line at the bottom.

The glow around the cookie gives it a halo and effect so it goes well with the title. It looks like it would be a fun read.

This is my favourite. I love the colour, the quirky font and the swirly patterns.

What do you think? Which is your favourite cover and why?
