Cover Characteristic (20) Ships

Today I'm joining in with the Cover Characteristic meme hosted by Sugar and Snark. Every week the author chooses a theme and you have to pick five of your favourite book covers featuring that object.

Today's cover characteristic is Ships.


These are the ones that most appeal to me:


It's a simple cover but I like the colours and the look of the classic sailing ship.

This is gorgeous. I really like the maps and papers layered beneath the image of a ship and the girl staring wistfully. It makes me think of mystery and a voyage of discovery. 
This looks like an amazing, magical fantasy!
