Today I'm joining in with the Cover Characteristic meme hosted by Sugar and Snark. Every week the author chooses a theme and you have to pick five of your favourite book covers featuring that object.

Today's cover characteristic is Swimwear.





These are the ones that most appeal to me:




I love the ripple affect on this cover and the vertical title.




I like the models' acrobatic poses and how their bright red costumes stand out against the blue water. 





I like the bright blue colour and the blurry effect of this cover.



I like the playful pose of the models on this cover. It looks like a fun, beach read.



This is really bold and I like the warm bronze colour and the sparkly font.


I think my favourite cover here is Mistaken Engagement. It gives off a very happy and care-free vibe so would be perfect for light summer reading.

    Wow -- Surfacing is beyond gorgeous!!! Love the stark black and the vertical titling, as well. Swim to Me is also amazing. I love retro swimsuits, and 100% agree with the bright red suits being a great contrasting choice against the blue water.
